UCL Round Up : Ronaldo shines , Neymar doesn't

This couple of match-days saw the first leg of 4 matches take place . Both of the big encounters were mouth-watering and certainly lived up to their expectations .

Man of the moment , as always in this tournament , is no one else but Cristiano Ronaldo
Scoring two past a rather unstable looking PSG defense , he was the man of the match and creating yet another record . He now has 101 UCL goals for Los Blancos and looks anything far from "finished" . PSG were slightly favourites going into this encounter , but as I mentioned in an earlier article , this is very much Real Madrid's competition . At no point of time can they be ruled out . Being 1-0 down , Real Madrid showed great character and won the game comfortably at the end . Neymar was not quiet in his staggering best but was creating decent opportunities . Moving on to the other big encounter , Juventus and Tottenham played full 90 minutes but no one could get an advantage going into the second leg to Wembley .

Higuain looked sharp early on and scored two very early goal , inside 9 minutes . But Tottenham were persistant and managed to go all square into the second leg .
The other two fixtures were very comfortable for the English boys as they gathered big margines going into the respective reverse fixtures . Here are the results :
