The only big fixture of the Matchday 2 of Round-Of-16 of the Champions League resulted in a draw . Chelsea put up a great performance by maintaining their compactness in defence , as well as going on the counter attack . Willian opened the scoring , but on the 75 min. mark , Leo Messi equalised breaking his goalless record of 9 games against Chelsea .

The other English club also drew , but in a rather poor fashion . Manchester United are criticized of always parking the bus in big games , and so they did there . With only one shot on target , they were rather of-colour and looked to be playing for the draw . Alexis Sanchez started the game , and Paul Pogba came on after Ander Herrera suffered a hamstring pull .

Shakhtar Donetsk pulled off an amazing comeback after going one down to Roma at home . The comeback was completed by an amazing Fred freekick .
