It is really surprising how players don't realize how important warming up is . A simple 5-10 minute warm-up routine helps you get going for you training session and more so avoid injuries to a big extent . A warm-up routine involves DYNAMIC movements involving all muscle groups , specially lower body . Static stretches DO NOT make a part of warm up . The routine should increase intensity with progression . Here is a basic lower body routine to get you going :
